Software can organise job records. A generic PDF or checklist does not replace official Victorian certificates, required lodgement, or the work of a licensed practitioner.

Five checks before paying for setup
- Use the web dashboard. New subscribers must use ServiceM8’s online dashboard. Apple and Xero subscriptions are excluded.
- Watch both 60-day clocks. Claim within 60 days of subscribing and the earliest partner invoice. Leave time for completion and payment.
- Submit once, with every invoice. Finish and pay for all claimed setup first. Include deposit and balance invoices in one claim.
- Check the official partner directory. Only listed, certified partners and qualifying first-time setup/training qualify. Check the agreed scope.
- Budget for upfront payment. Pay the partner and first subscription month upfront. Approved credit offsets half the monthly base fee; it is not cash. Other offers do not stack.
Choose and contact a partner yourself. Services Explained has no booking arrangement or referral commission in place for this test and sends no contact details. Partner quotes and scope must be confirmed directly.
Compare setup quotes fairly
AIGain advertises Foundation at A$799 + GST and Professional at A$1,499 + GST. These are examples from one provider, not Services Explained offers. Confirm whether your requested forms, imports, training and accounting setup are included before paying.
Existing users can still ask a partner for a paid workflow review, but should not assume new-subscriber rebate eligibility. DIY users can start with ServiceM8’s own learning resources.
